Among the early pioneers who introduced and popularized anterior approach hip arthroplasty in Virginia, and expanded its applications, he has increasingly focused over the years on complex arthroplasty, deformities and lower extremity reconstruction, with Level II orthopaedic trauma. He evaluates and treats general musculoskeletal conditions as well as disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, followed by advanced fellowship training in spine surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
