Education and Training

Dr. Praveer Srivastava is a highly trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction. He earned his medical degree and Master of Surgery in Orthopaedic Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, followed by a Master of Science in Genetics from Case Western Reserve University. He completed advanced surgical training through an orthopaedic residency at Wayne State University and an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds additional certifications in MAKO robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement.

Dr. Srivastava has cared for patients for more than two decades, practicing with VCU Health Orthopaedics, Colonial Orthopaedics, and most recently The Southeast Permanente Medical Group in Atlanta. He is dedicated to medical education and has served in academic roles at both the University of Kentucky and Virginia Commonwealth University. He is also an active member of national and state orthopedic societies, including AAOS and AAHKS. Clinically, Dr. Srivastava is known for his expertise in anterior approach hip replacement, primary and revision knee arthroplasty, robotic-assisted joint replacement, periarticular osteotomies, and general orthopaedic and arthroscopic care.
